Related Items Categories - how do I add?

I can see the related items categories, I have many due to individually adding each related item to the main item.

I seem to be missing the option on the "Related Items" tab on the item which would allow me to add a "Category" (grouping of related items) rather than having to add items individually.

Maybe I am missing another "add-on" in my NS package? Checked the help screens but can't find any mention?
