Construction Accounting

One of our companies is a general contractor.  I have been using Peachtree Premium Accounting for Construction, primarily I have not figured out how to get Netsuite set up to handle construction accounting.  Peachtree is pretty basic software, and I would like to put all our companies on the same program.  I don't really want to go out and buy  Timberline or one of the other vertical solutions.

If any of you are using Netsuite for construction, please let me know what success you have had with it and how you did it.
