Recording of Sales Tax Data for Non-Taxable Organizations
PROBLEM:
When you record a sale (save an invoice) in which the "Taxable" field is unchecked the sales tax data shows up on the No Tax Agency line in the Sales Tax Liability By Tax Agency report.
When we file a sales tax form with the tax agency, we have to state our Total sales made in the jurisdiction of that agency. I see no way to get this data from NetSuite.
DISCUSSION:
It should be recorded/reported on the appropriate Tax Agency line. For example, if the sale was made in Illinois, then the Total Sales, Non Taxable Sales, and Taxable Sales should be included on the line for
