Retroactive reconciliation
I'm trying to reconcile an account retroactively from the very beginning - Feb 2004. It was never reconciled, so I'm starting from the beginning. NetSuite gives me an notice saying " Insert Transaction Failure: No valid, open, posting period for date - '2/17/2004'. Please visit Setup > Manage Accounting Periods to set up a new accounting period. "
The periods do exsist but are closed, and I see that I can go back to previous periods and re-open them... will this ruin something or can I do this without consequence?
Thanks!
