Bank Reconciliation

HELP--not only is my first checking account off due to payments and deposits appearing from as far back as 1996, our 2nd account has now carried forward an incorrect balance.  Our last reconciled balance was $1300 last month and now it has changed (by itself) to $300.00.  The $1300 still reflects accurately in last month but we are also having 2004 payments/deposits appearing in the reconciliation.
