Easy question! Transaction date for a line item formula.
I have a column field on a purchase transaction that i am trying to automatically fill with the transaction date (for reasons I won't bore you with).
I have created a custom column field of type Date which I have set to be applied to purchase items. I have entered the following text into the Default Value field on the column field (I have also ticked Forumla)
{trandate}
My expectation is that this will populate the field with the transaction date but it isn't working. I think it might be because the field ID for the line item is different to the transaction body.
