Credit Card spending limit

Is there a preset spending limit that i am allowed to process on one transaction.  I have tried to process an order of $10,000 and it would let me, so I broke it up into two separate transactions of 5k each and then it went through.  I spoke to my CC processor, and I was told that it is a function within NetSuite.  Does anyone know of how to change this preset spending limit?
