Orders and forecast
Hello,
We have a potentially long order process (not an online store where orders are immediately billed). We take orders for our system, but the customers are not billed until we install it. This can frequently be up to a month or so later. I am wondering how I can account for this in the forecast reports. As I understand it, the order date determines when that order shows up in the forecast reports. I don't want to change the order date until the projected install date, since then (I think) we would lose visibility into when the order was placed,
