Retained Earnings affected for prior closed year.

Is anyone aware of an event that could cause retained earnings on the balance sheet to change for the prior year that has been closed and locked?

Our retained earnings for 2006 have changes twice in the past 3 months. The change has been less then $50 each time, but still, it is a change that should not happen. I have spent over 8 hours on the phone with Netsuite support with no luck.
