Adjust Inv Wksht, Devalue Inv.
Ok, so when I have an item that i need to devaluate, i would normally use the Inv Adjustment WKSHT and enter the same qty as what I have on hand, but change the total value.
The problem I'm having is, it's adjusting the qty's of Purchases that haven't been received yet.
for example, I have item x. AS of 12/18/06 I have 50 On hand at $2 a unit.
on 12/19/06 I enter that we have a purchase coming in for 500 units of item X with a ETA of 1/19. I don't receive this or bill this.
When I go to adjust the inventory/cost, it shows me what I have on hand, which is 50 units. So I enter 50 Units at the new value 50$. The value of those 50 units is now 1$ a piece.
