Customer Balance Field Rounding Up/Down

We just noticed Monday that our customer balance field is rounding the customer's balance to the nearest dollar.  We have not had problems with this field prior to this.  Because of this problem, we are not able to quote exact balances when customers call in.  This is resulting in overpayments and underpayments of less than a dollar, which is really frustrating!  Had anyone else had this problem?  Help!
