Link Customer Type and GL Account
Our business (sporting goods) is set up with customers having customer types such as Team, League and School.
What we need to do is link those customer types with a matching GL Account for accounting/reporting purposes.
For example, I enter a sales order and choose a customer account to bill to.
This customer is of type "School"
since the customer is "School" I need the sales $ and COGS $ to post to GL accounts set up specifically for "School" customers.
Can anyone help me accomplish this? It seems I can change accounts to post to, based on the item, but I haven't found the way to do it based on the customer.
