Cash Refund -default GL account

When doing a cash refund, the default account is set to our Checking GL account. However, when I enter a specific customer code/name, this account jumps to the credit card GL account!

I don't want our team mistakenly posting returns to the credit card account when they are refunding cash...

Is there something I need to change on the customer account to fix this?
