Estimate to Sales Order bypasses Credit Limit?
Hi,
I was proving that the credit limit function operates correctly on Sales Orders, (which it mostly does) until I was rudely shocked.
If you attempt to save a Sales Order for more than the Customer credit limit, and have all the holds on Auto and no overriding available, Netsuite will correctly block you from saving the Sales Order.
If you do exactly the same thing with the same customer, but create an Estimate first, then convert the Estimate to a Sales Order - guess what - you can save, fulfill, and bill, and the customer balance happily sits above their credit limit!
