Approved for Posting

in Accounting / ERP

Hi

We've put a Journal on, and it's status is 'Approved for Posting', we were advised this was the way to make a payment on account, and now that we've come to allocate the bill against the payment, we are unable as the journal is 'Approved for Posting'

Any help would be much appreciated.
