Direct list editing of line items

What: We enter sales orders in NS and send via web services to fulfillment vendor, and need to track the vendor's progress to ensure all items are acted upon.

How: Give staff the ability to edit a custom transaction column field on line items - via direct list editing from a saved search. Saved search will show which line items where this field is empty.

Problem: Line item fields do not appear to be available for edit this way.
