Sales tax question
Our company has 5 retail stores CT and we are opening 3 in RI on 11/1.
I have enabled Advanced Taxes and added RI as a nexus.
Since we are retail both our locations will be physically selling (on occasion) to out of state customers. We are required to collect the respective sales taxes for our home states in these cases.
I understand NS can have a default tax code if one cannot be found by the system lookup, but in my case we can't do this (for example RI cannot default to CT and vice versa).
I'm wondering if anyone has come across a sol'n to this? For example, it would be nice to be able to have a default sales tax by company location.
