Advanced Project Tracking - adding tasks to service items for sale
We have recently purchased the Advanced Job Tracking module. It looks like we can set a service item for sale to automatically create a project and the tasks associated with that, but we cannot do that for non-inventory items for sale.
All of our items seem to be classified as non-inventory, so I am not able to set them up to automatically create a project when they are sold.
What is the best solution? All of our work has been assigned to these existing items. Is there a way to chage the item to be a service for sale instead of non-inventory without impacting past transactions? Or is there a way to add the Projects subtab to the non-inventory item for sale form?
