Selling Membership and Events

Hello all,

I'm just setting up Netsuite for the first time and I wonder if any of you can help me.  As an organisation we essentially sell three things: physical products, annual membership and training events.  The first of these is pretty straight-forward in Netsuite, and I think I have ways of doing some of the things I'd like to with the other two, but I'd really like to hear from other users on how they've tackled these issues, as I'm sure we're not the only Netsuite users who sell these things.
