Subaccounts of Equity account
We are trying to add sub accounts to our equity account but i was told that it is a special account and we cannot create sub accounts for it.
I want to know how everyone else handle it or do accounting without creating sub accounts to equity as one would need a basic paid-in capital, distributions, and earnings account all falling under the heading of Equity.
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
