Markup Rates and Tax
Hi,
If I have an item that I purchase for $80 (plus $8 tax) to mark billable for a Job, it will show up on the Invoice for that job and I apply it. I then choose the markup item to add a margin on it. The Rate calculation seems to work, but doesn't deal with the GST (tax) in a way I would like. If I have a 54% Markup, the sale amount shows as $123.20 (plus $8 tax), so now the end customer can see exactly how much Markup they are paying.
As it is a legal requirement to show tax amounts on an invoice, how can I show that I am charging the customer $123.20 (plus $12.32 tax)?
