Cash Flow Statement - Reporting Cash Flows!

Hi

Can any one tell me how to make the cashflow statement into an actual cash flow statement as apposed to a movement in balances, ie how do you strip out depreciation from operating activities and ensure financing activies only include the cash movement, ie proceeds from disposal and cash paid for new additions? As far as I can tell you can only add the assets accounts to the financing activites section and it shows the net movement on there.
