sales tax in web store ???

We sell Retail Items on line in Illinois and beyond.
Since our company in based in Illinois, I am pretty sure we need to charge sales tax to Illinois residents only.

I have looked at "setup>accounting>set taxes> charge tax in on line store"
but have not gone further than that.

How can I set this up with the correct tax amount to the correct customers?
