NetSuite destroys formatting in user-entered emails.
When I send out invoices by email using the "mail" button on the invoice, I enter a short message to the customer with the invoice. Everything works as expected.
When I send out an estimate by email using the "mail" button on the estimate, the same email popup window comes up as with invoices, but if I send the customer a note, the text I enter is treated as HTML and smushed into a blob because all the formatting information is lost. This is, of course, unacceptable, since it makes me look like an idiot (to have purchased NetSuite???) to the customer. It also makes NetSuite look terrible to prospective customers.
