Intercompany transfers (without SMC)
Just wondering how other people (not using SMC) are handling interco inventory transfers between companies, specifically in regards to pricing.
Basically, you make a PO from Company A to B, and then make a SO from Company B to A. But you'll want to sell the items at cost, right.
So what's the solution to that? We have a script that fetches the Average Cost of the item and sets the item's rate when a certain Price Level is selected. The script basically overwrites what the price level would have enetered - the price level merely acts as a trigger. But some employees forget the amount enetred in the interco price level is irrelevant, and they waste time updating it or worse base reports on it.
