Sales order forecast report broken
In v2008, the sales order forecast report is broken. Does anyone know of a work-around?
The defect number is 142840. What happens is when a sales order is revised, any revenue related to a prior closed period shows up in the current period.
e.g. 12,000 service contract. should be 1,000/mo. Jan - Mar closed and billed. In Apr, client upgrades to 24,000 contact (2,000/mo). Forecast should show 1k for Jan - Mar (closed periods), 5k for april (new 2k plus make-up of 1k for each of Jan, Feb & Mar), May - Dec 2k each (24k total).
What happens is 0 shows for Jan - Mar, 8k for Apri, 2k for May - Dec (24k total).
