Locations Mandatory

Hi

Does anyone know if it is possible to have 'Locations' Mandatory in some parts of NS, and not in others.

We want them compulsory when we are putting on Sales Orders, but not for example when writing cheques.

The only place we know to change this is Setup>Accounting>Accounting Preferences, and turn off Make Locations Mandatory on the General tab, but that is a blanket on / off across the whole of our NS system.
