Can units of measure be inactivated?
I have a number of SKUs in my system that was originally setup with units of measure. Not because we sell the items in different quantities, but because we order items in eaches, but sell them in cases.
However, since kits do not respect units of measure for member items, we have a huge issue to overcome. The kit members all show eaches, and cannot be changed.
So, if I want to sell 3 cases of material in a kit, I have to change the kit to 18 eaches.
This causes many issues internally, and externally to the customer as well. Any packing list and/or invoice will show the each quantity and not show the case quantity.
