Sales Report for 'Service For Sale' Items

I want to run a sales report on these items, but since they are the type "Service For Sale", not inventory or non-inventory, they don't show any results on a sales by item report. 

Is there any way to report on these items, or do they need to be inv/non in order to run a sales report on them?
