Revenue Recognition

Hello all,

We are having some issues with Rev Rec.  We have assigned a 12 month schedule to our maintenance items, and are using straight line even periods 12 months. 

If maintenance starts 7/1/08 and ends 6/30/09 everything flows perfect (12 months)

If maintenance starts 6/28/08 - 6/27/09 the system seems to get confused and counts June twice for 13 months. 

Has anyone seen this, know of a glitch or is there something we are doing incorrectly to cause a set 12 month schedule to schedule out 13 months??
