System GL accounts

I have just tried to set up our chart of account by loading the accounts out of our legacy system into an empty Netsuite account.

In the empty Netsuite account there are lready a number of GL accounts like accounts payable... Some of them I can delete others not. There are no postings on this accounts so it is hard for me to understand why they are not deletable. I assume they are somewhere used by transactions or in default financial statement layouts.

Can anyone explain the reasons and give best practice how to handle them? Just set them inactive?
