Remove Recognize Gift Certificate Revenue From Role

Does anybody know how to remove the ability to recognize gift certificate from a role.

I am trying to strip down a role based on the standard accountant role to the bare minimum. I have removed the journal form from the role, but the recognize gift certificate revenue stubbornly continues to be an option when I am in the role.

Any ideas
