Multiple Units of Measure

edited Sep 22, 2008 3:50PM in Accounting / ERP 1 comment

We have recently had a vendor switch to 10 packs on a specific inventory item, and I need to figure out how to determine how to support it.

The part is rubberized keyboards for the laptop computers we sell.  The original part number is CF-WKB303VM.  We will continue to sell this part and reference it on Quotes, Sales Orders and Invoices.

HOWEVER, our vendor, now, expects us to purchase from them, a different part number CF-WKB303VM-10PK  (10 pack).  We need to purchase 10 packs of CF-WKB303VM-10PK and sell CF-WKB303VM.

So, how do I do this?  It appears your multiple units of measure feature will not work because you are expecting a single Part Number.  We have different part numbers.

Howdy, Stranger!
