Credit Memo fully applied

My customer has requested a copy of a credit memo that was applied previously to their invoices. The credit memo shows fully applied in NS however when I printed it so that I can fax, i noticed that it doesn't  show that the amt has been used/applied. It just shows a total credit amount. Has anyone had encountered this before?
