Return status on RA-Credit

I processed a return using the RA-Credit form in order to generate a credit memo. The button on the RA says "Refund"....it's been that way forever and it SHOULD say "Credit", but regardless, when all is said and done you do have a credit memo.

However, the RA status is "Refunded". This caused my boss some heartburn until I could prove to him that an open credit memo for it exists and nothing was actually refunded to the customer.

So my question is: shouldn't the RA status be "Credited"????
