Need to change Defualt Accounts!
So we are having an issue of ever increasing inventory valuation amount(Well only on my dashboard and in some reports such as the general ledger).
I believe it to be caused by having the wrong account associated to the COGS Account and Asset Account feilds in all of our Item and Assembly item definitions.
Currently we have our made up "Inventory Asset" account in the COGS account field and our made up "COGS" account in the Asset Account field.
I think someone just made an error when inputing these, as I think they are backwards.
If I change these accounts to the correct accounts, swapping them, what are my chances that my Inventory amount will be corrected?
