Closing selected future accountinng periods
Hi, New forum poster here.
I'm having trouble closing select future accounting periods. Specifically, our bookkeeper continues to post invoices to 12/2009 rather than 12/2008. To prevent this, I'm trying to close months 2-12 in FY 2009 with no success. I need to leave January (P1 - we're on calendar months) open to allow for current month management but want to close the rest of 2009 for now.
Efforts have resulted in either the entire future year being open or closed, but nothing in between, despite efforts to close at the month, quarter, or yearly levels.
Can this be done?
Thanks,
Sam
