I really hope someone can help me with this...
A transportation company has to pay certain taxes and fees to for example airports and other agencies for each sale that is made.
These taxes/fees are charged to the customer.
The desired GL impact is:
A/R customers DT 100
Income from Sales CR 80
A/P Transport Taxes on Sales CR 20
or alternatively:
A/R customers DT 100
Income from Sales CR 100
Income from Sales DT 20
A/P Transport Taxes on Sales CR 20
I have considered various options to implement this in NS, but am stuck.
