Transaction Entry Performance Enhancement

We noticed that using Firefox, when entering a new transaction, eg: BC-20, a drop down list showing items are listed and selecting any items will be automatically filled up, which is good...

But when it comes to clicking ADD to confirm the addition of that item, a second item selection box appears on the same line, leaving the item code, which I have originally selected BLANK and I have to select the item again from the box to add it.
