Gross amount value in invoice is different from Gross amount value in transaction

in Accounting / ERP

Gross Amount value in an Invoice is the amount with tax but
when I create a new Transaction Search to retrieve the field Gross Amount in Result, the Gross amount shows up as a value different from what the Transaction invoice shows.
