Items Search Type

in Accounting / ERP

Hello i´m trying to change the type of the item search for a purchase order entries; on my ADMINISTRATOR
role i have like a advanced search where i can look for an item throught the name, descrpition,type,etc., by several filters but on the other hand on my purchase manager role i don't see the same type of search it throws like a criteria search with only one filter
can somebody help me with this
