Refunds - Accounting separately from sales
Hi,
As I undestand in talking with Netsuite support it is not possible to specify a spearate GL Account for a refund. It is effectively treated as a negative Sale and on the P&L shows up as a negative under Sales.
eg
Sales £8000
made up of individual
Cash Sales £10000
Refunds £-2000
Questions:-
1. I want to raise an enhancement for this - do others have same issue that Refunds should be shown to a separate GL Account?
2. Due to this limitation does anyone know if it is possible to customise the P&L to split sales by Transaction Type so we can analyse the amount of Refunds as a spearate line on the P&L.
