Credit Control

Need some help with credit control. At the moment when placing sales orders we only get a warning the debtor is on hold. the order can still be placed and can be fulfiled, delivered and invoiced.
We need to be able to at least stop fulfilment as a minimum. is there anyway of improving our current situation.
