Separate COGS Accts for Assembly Items

We make soap. Package it, and ship it.

In Netsuite, we have assembly items for each case.  (soap, container, box)

We want to separate the assembly into different COGS accounts for the income statement.  ie. COGS chemicals(soap), COGS packaging (container,box,etc).

Netsuite said there is no way to do this.

As an alternative, I wanted to find a report on the Assembly items that I built for the month (Plus showing their pieces) and make a G/L entry to reflect the different COGS accounts.  Also could not find...

What is everyone else doing for assembly items and COGS?
