Transfer Order insanity

The new release of Netsuite allows for the partial fulfillment and partial receipt of transfer orders. This seems good, except, I believe the following is true. Hope it is not, but I fear it is true...

[LIST]
[*]It is impossible to edit a transfer order line once it has been fulfilled
[*]It is impossible to edit an Item Fulfillment line once it has been received.
[/LIST]

This begs the question... why even allow partial fulfillment/receiving? There is no way to resolve discrepancies.
