SO Date and Billing Schedule Date

Does anyone know how I can have these be different.  Example: SO is put in today 10/29/10 and we set it up on a billing schedule but it automatically sets it to bill out starting today.  I would like to have billing on the 15th of each month.  The only way around this that I see is putting in the SO on Nov 11th instead of today.  That seems not right though.  Anyone know if there is a way to change this setting?
