Mass update of VAT code on cash sales

Hopefully someone can help.

Is it possible to simply change the VAT code on a large number of cash sales using the mass update function or something similar?

I've been trying to find the option but it does not appear to be there.
It would be useful to be able to do this to save deleting the transactions and re-importing them.
