Locate product locaton by Serial Number

At the moment we cannot check which product was sold to a customer by serial number - the ability to do this would be very useful.


Currently, if we search by serial number Netsuite takes us to the product in question but not give any details as to when it was sold, to which customer, invoice number etc.  Is there anyway to access this information?
