Two Problems with Advanced Rev Rec Module

in Accounting / ERP

We have recently implemented the advanced revenue recognition module and have identified two types of transactions which I cannot figure out an answer:

1) When a sales order is amended and additional services are added, we want to prevent a new allocation from being made. Is it possible to add an item without any allocation being made?
2) We need to allcoate value for the same customer between multiple sales orders. Does anyone have this problem/solution???
