Posting and Non-discounts on the same Sales Order

Hey All,

I can't seem to understand why a SO won't allow a user to post discounts of type both non-posting and posting. We are allowed to deferred and posting items.

Any ideas?

Error msg: "Posting and non-posting discounts/markups are not allowed on the same transaction"
